Whether it’s nautical blue or sandy beige, your cozy room will do one thing for sure, and that is to make you happy! Relax and rejuvenate in one of our 48 individually designed single and double rooms, or in one of our suites or 8 spacious vacation apartments!
They all have a flatscreen TV, hairdryer, safe with integrated electrical outlet, direct-dial telephone, SuitePad tablet, and minibar. Some feature a patio or balcony, and they all embody a relaxing feeling of pure naturalness!

Our dishes are sometimes traditional, sometimes creative, sometimes cleverly reinterpreted and reworked – but there is one thing they all share: our kitchen’s pots, pans, and ovens are filled with natural products from our region.
Host Gunnar Hesse makes sure of this. Gunnar is a huge fan of flavor, and he enjoys gathering the island’s herbs in the woods, between the dunes, and in the hotel’s garden, which then make their way to your plate in deliciously prepared foods.

We live in a place where the sea and nature soothe our longings and inspire our everyday lives – we live in the true happiness that comes with freedom.
If you’ve never been to Amrum, you are sure to be delighted by our biggest attraction: the Kniepsand, a beach of fine sand, twelve kilometers long and two kilometers wide in parts. It is one of the largest in all of Europe, stretching almost as far as the horizon and filling our natural dune area with mountains of sand towering upwards of 30 meters.
