We are located in Norddorf, the northernmost village on the island of Amrum – Strunwai 13, right in the pedestrian zone. The Kniepsand beach and the dunes are just a few minutes' walk away. Amrum belongs to North Frisia in Schleswig-Holstein and is situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.

Take the train to Dagebüll Mole, continue with the W.D.R. ferry to Wittdün and take the island bus to the final stop, Norddorf – from there it is about 200 metres on foot. By car, drive to Dagebüll and cross over with the car ferry (reserve a parking space in advance). You can find all travel details on our website Arrival.

• From 27 days before arrival, in the event of a late arrival or early departure, the following cancellation fees may be charged – provided the booked accommodation cannot be re-let elsewhere:

• Accommodation without breakfast (room only): 90 % of the booked price
• Bed and breakfast: 80 % of the booked price
• In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the full booking price (100 %) may be charged.

Group bookings (from 5 rooms/units)

• Free cancellation: up to 60 days before arrival.
• Thereafter – provided the booked rooms or residential units cannot be re-let – the following cancellation fees apply:
• 59 to 28 days before arrival: 50 % of the booking price
• 27 to 14 days before arrival: 80 % of the booking price
• 13 days before arrival up to the day of arrival: 100 % of the booking price

We are right in the centre of Norddorf, surrounded by dunes and greenery – our rooms do not have a direct view of the open sea. However, the Kniepsand is just a few minutes' walk away, and many rooms feature a balcony or terrace. Our reception team will be happy to advise you on the quietest location.

Both. We are a true family business with family suites, a swimming pool and plenty of space to play on the beach – and at the same time a place of peace and quiet for anyone who simply wants to switch off.

Yes, your dog is very welcome – a maximum of two dogs per room, bowl and blanket included. The fee is €20 per dog per day.

From the breakfast buffet, through the lunch menu and coffee & cake, to the evening menu in the Seeblicker EssZimmer – plus our takeaway menu for collection and, in summer, street food from the culinary trailer.

Yes, there is an age restriction and a few important conditions for the spa and swimming pool area:

• Age restriction:
  Children and young people Guests under the age of 18 are only permitted in the spa area when accompanied by an adult use.

  Parents are liable for their children.
• Opening hours (hotel & external guests):
  • Swimming pool daily 07:30 – 20:00
  • Sauna area (cabin sauna, mist bank, lido): daily 14:00 – 20:00
  • Garden Finnish sauna from May to August, 14:00 to 20:00 (please register at reception so it can be pre-heated)

Specific „quiet hours“ in the sense of adults-only times are not stated on the website – however, the entire spa area is intended as a quiet and relaxation zone.
